How it works – Remember me?

'Remember Me?' feature is implemented by placing a permanent 'cookie' on your computer, which is only accessible by CLUInstitute.ca websites. When you check the box to remember you, the cookie is placed into the computer using used to access our site.

A cookie is a small data or text file that a web server sends to your computer's web browser to be stored and referenced for future use. The two types of cookies  are "persistent cookies" and "session cookies". This cookie does not contain any kind of personal information, and is only accessible by CLUInstitute.ca websites. When you return to our site, using the same computer then you will be logged into the system automatically without entering ID and Password. A session cookie only stores information while you are connected to a particular web site. A session cookie is no longer available after you close your browser session.Advocis uses cookies to enhance security and navigation only. 
How to set your browser to accept cookies:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5
  1. Select "Tools" from the browser menu bar

  2. Select "Internet Options"

  3. Select "Security"

  4. Select "Custom Level"

  5. Scroll down to "Cookies" and select "Enable" under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)."

  6. Select the "OK" button on the "Security" window

  7. Select the "OK" button on the "Internet Options" window.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4x

  1. Select "View" from the browser menu bar

  2. Select "Internet Options"

  3. Click the "Advanced" tab

  4. Scroll down to "cookies" (under "security") and select "Always accept cookies", or "Prompt before accepting cookies"

  5. Select the "OK" button on the "Security" window

  6. Select the "OK" button on the "Internet Options" window

Netscape Communicator 4x

  1. Select "Edit" from the browser menu bar

  2. Select "Preferences"

  3. Double click on "Advanced"

  4. Select "Accept All Cookies", or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server". To set your browser to warn you before selecting cookies, check the box beside "Warn me before accepting a cookie."

  5. Select the "OK" button
